Flower Fort at Dubai Miracle Garden

A Flower Fort having flowers as its key armor is one of the core attractions at the Dubai Miracle Garden. The Flower Fort lies just behind the Disney Avenue (Mickey Mouse sculpture) and has a very grand presence at the Dubai Miracle Garden. This magnificently built Flower Fort has all what a fort can have i.e., curtain walls, bastions, gates, architecture and of course engineering class.

A huge Flower Fort is one of the wonders of the Season 7 at the Dubai Miracle Garden. The fort creates a grand and royal presence at the garden.

Having flowers spewing from its front and back, the Flower Fort also has a beautiful gateway passage at its center which tempts the visitors to go through it and watch its beauty from various perspectives. The only thing missing within the fort is the presence of real armor which is replaced by the beauty of the flowers while the Miracle Garden visitors serve as the soldiers of this Flower Fort. The massive bastions of the fort are the symbol of strength while its colorful flowers are the message of peace and harmony for the visitors of the Dubai Miracle Garden.

Sunflowers are used at the outer boundaries of the Flower Fort while the lawn of the Flower fort has lawn and red Petunia flowers. Size of the Flower Fort at the Dubai Miracle Garden.
The size of the Flower Fort at the Dubai Miracle Garden is huge. It is spread over 50 square kilometers area.

The overall structure of the Flower Fort is solidly built. We can safely say that the fort itself is 60% surrounded with plantation (including flowers and Alternanthera bushes) while rest of the fort area comprises of the solid construction i.e., like stones have been carved to build the fort. All the four bastions and their top groves are solidly built and no flowering element was integrated within them.

Despite the presence of the colorful flowers, the structure of the Flower Fort looks as natural as the real fort.

However; flowering could have been integrated at the top of the bastions and it could have grown sideways for the display. Inside the fort there is a set of circular arrangements of bamboo sticks on each side of the walk-through gateway of the castle. They do look like a great natural decoration and so far nobody knows what exactly they stand for inside the castle area.

In terms of its popularity the Flower Fort has certainly created its worth at the Dubai Miracle Garden. The Flower Fort is one of the finest built structures of the Dubai Miracle Garden. The structure of the flower fort also resembles the structure of the Chauburji building at the city of Lahore of Pakistan which is a gateway to the ancient royal garden of the Mughal Empire i.e., the Shalimar Garden. So some people relate it to that traditional architecture while others compare it with the royal palaces, castles and fortresses as well. The Flower fort also gives plenty of photography opportunities for the visitors of the Dubai Miracle Garden. It is most popular amongst the adults and young adult groups who has a keen interest within ancient buildings and architectures.
