The Floral Peacocks have a rich history at the Dubai Miracle Garden, as they are part of the garden right from the time of its inauguration. At the time of inauguration of the Dubai Miracle Garden in 2013, there was just few Floral Peacocks, however; with the passage of time their numbers have also increased and as of today (2017) there are at least 10 sculptures of Floral Peacocks at the Dubai Miracle Garden. Moreover; they are of different sizes and also display different behaviors at the Dubai Miracle Garden. For example, some have opened their colorful feathers, some are having rest while others are standing straight in a queue with colorful flowers.
Except for their legs, neck and mouth, the Floral Peacocks of the Dubai Miracle Garden are totally showered with colorful flowers. All of them are decorated with Petunia flowers, except for the ones which have opened their back feathers. The ones with the back feathers opened have Coleuses along with Petunia flowers as their feathers. Petunia flowers always offer the flexibility of color availability and they are famous for having longer lifespan as compared to the other flowers. For example, there is a white Floral Peacock at the Dubai Miracle garden, and it is totally decorated with white Petunia flowers. The same is true about the pink Floral Peacock which has all pink-colored Petunia flowers. Similarly; there are multi-colored Floral Peacocks as well at the Dubai Miracle Garden which have red, white and blue colored Petunia flowers.
The sizes of the Floral Peacocks vary at the Dubai Miracle Garden. Some Floral peacocks are smaller while others are huge. At the tip of their crown, these Floral Peacocks are at least 12 feet high from the ground level of the Dubai Miracle Garden. Some peacocks which seem to have opened their feathers of flowers have a feather span of 10 feet wide and at least 14 feet high from the ground level.
The overall structure of these Floral Peacocks look like an exquisite piece of art. The face, the flowers, overall body is all made in a real artistic way. The overall structure looks really solid as well. For the mouth part and the neck part some ceramic material (cement or plaster of Paris) has been used to give them a real peacock shape. Rest the back feathers are fully showered with the flowers which almost look like feathers. Some other Peacocks which have opened up their back feathers in a dance like pose, they have small compartments of flowerings within them; where the flowers are being grown. Overall; the maintenance of these Floral Peacocks does look like an easy job as the organizers just simply have to replace the old flowers with the new ones and in a particular order in accordance with the design.

The best way to take photograph with these Floral Peacocks is to stand in front of the peacock and allow the whole peacock to come within the picture. For bigger peacocks which have long feathers of flowers, the best way to take photograph is to stand just beside the peacock and allow the whole peacock including its back feathers come within the entire photograph.
