Flamingo Sculptures at Dubai Miracle Garden

Pink Flamingo Sculptures mesmerize the visitors’ attention at the Dubai Miracle Garden. These Flamingo Sculptures are located inside the pond of the Dubai Miracle Garden. There are at least three groups (ranging in different numbers in each group) of Flamingo Sculptures at the Dubai Miracle Garden. Each flamingo within the group has a unique expression i.e., some playing together, some moving forward and some trying to eat something from the pond’s water. These different expressions of the Flamingo Sculptures almost look real, if looked from a bit far away location of the garden. The presence of the flamingoes within the pond and the colorful flowers in the ponds’ surrounding give the impression of nature, beauty and freshness at the Dubai Miracle Garden. The only pity is that the flamingoes are just the sculptures and they are not the real ones.

So, when were these Flamingo Sculptures were first introduced at the Dubai Miracle Garden? The answer! They were first introduced in 2015, at the Dubai Miracle Garden. Year 2015 was the third edition of the Dubai Miracle Garden. Each year the Dubai Miracle Garden comes up with new edition of floral sculptures. Previously; right from its inception, there was a water pond at the Dubai Miracle Garden but within that there was just a water and rocks. This introduction of the Flamingo Sculptures offered liveliness to the water pond of the Dubai Miracle Garden.

None of the Flamingo Sculptures at the Dubai Miracle Garden are decorated with the flowers. There was an option of cultivating flowers on their backs but this option hasn’t been utilized by the authorities of the Dubai Miracle Garden. Apart from that the flower beddings of Petunia flowers can be seen at the bank of the water pond. These flower beddings on the bank of the Pond are decorated with red and purple colored Petunia Flowers. The flower beddings give a colorful look & feel to the pond of the Dubai Miracle Garden while Flamingo Sculptures look magnificent in the overall theme of the pond. The borders of the bank near the pathways are decorated with a yellow colored daisy flowers.

The Flamingo Sculptures has a normal size and because of this normal size in the pictures they often look as if there are real flamingoes at the Dubai Miracle Garden. The Flamingo Sculptures of the Dubai Miracle Garden are as tall as 5 feet. Some of the Flamingo Sculptures are small because these flamingoes are watching downwards towards the pond.

All the Flamingo Sculptures are solidly built at the Dubai Miracle Garden. They are most probably built of some concrete material i.e., cement or plaster etc. The best thing is that they are carved really artistically and this is also one of the factors that they look almost real. Their color also looks natural and this is where a routine maintenance of paint might be required after some months.

Flamingo Sculptures are very popular among the children visiting the Dubai Miracle Garden. Most of the photographs of the Flamingo Sculptures from the Dubai Miracle Garden are standalone pictures (without visitors’ own pictures within them). The very possible reason is that the visitors do consider them as part of the nature and want to capture them as the displayed theme at the Miracle Garden. Other possible reason can be the lack of an encouraging place for the visitors to include themselves along with the flamingoes in the photographs. Also, there are grilled hedges around the water pond so there is a hindrance for the visitors to take photographs. The best way to take photograph so far for the flamingoes is to take their snap from back side (choose biggest flock of flamingoes). This side also includes a boat in front of flamingoes which also boosts the overall scenery of the Dubai Miracle Garden.
