Just the only pity is that these windmills do not move or generate any kind of greener energy. There is more about these Floral Windmills at the Dubai Miracle Garden, so let's explore them further!
The Floral Windmills were first introduced at the Dubai Miracle Garden in November 2014. Therefore; these windmills were part of the third episode of the Dubai Miracle Garden. The Dubai Miracle Garden continuously improves itself and for this it goes for a break for a few months and then later in the year, it comes up with some really fantastic floral themes. Over the years there have been modifications and improvements within these Floral windmills as well. The earlier Floral Mills of the Dubai Miracle Garden only had their towers showered with the flowers. Their blades were displayed without flowers. However; in the next edition, all the Floral Windmills' blades were also coated with colorful flowers. In the latest version of 2017, these Floral Windmills are also swapped with butterfly windmills in which the blades section is replaced as a whole with butterflies. However; still there are many windmills on display at the Dubai Miracle Garden.
The organizers have used Petunia flowers to decorate these amazing Floral windmills at the Dubai Miracle Garden. Their tower, their top and their blades are all beautifully adorned with the Petunia flowers. There are vertical columns of flowers on the tower part of the Floral Windmills and each column has a unique coloring of Petunia flowers. So far, the color of Petunia flowers which have been witnessed within these columns of tower included red, blue, purple, yellow, pink and white. Moreover; each blade of these Floral Windmills also has a unique color scheming of the Petunia flowers. However; some windmills have only one scheme of color on all of their blades as well. The base of the Floral Windmills is covered with grass along with the flower beddings of Petunia and Marigold flowers.
There are at least six Floral Windmills at the Dubai Miracle Garden as of 2017. Previously; the number was very high for these Floral Windmills. The Floral Windmills have a reasonable size (Not too small not too big). The tower of these Floral Windmills is as high as 12 feet from their base while their maximum height including the blades is about 14 to 16 feet from the base. The blades of these Windmills have a width of around 2 feet wide and their length is approximately around 8 feet long. The base itself is about 3 feet high from the ground-level of the Miracle Garden. This height of the base from the ground-level makes these Floral Windmills look bigger and higher as well.
At the core; the whole structure of the Floral Windmills is made of up steel network. The vertical rows in the tower, their head and the blades are all made up of steel. The tower is made with such a network of steel that it allows an easy integration of the flower fitting throughout the tower. The tower itself is coned-shaped and it has a bigger diameter at the bottom as compared to the top. The same structural theme for flowers is also used within the blades as well. It appears as if a whole bedding of Petunia flower is easily integrated within the blades. In the absence of flowers on these windmills, they are decorated with small yellow colored ball-shaped structures which make them look like mango windmills rather than Floral Windmills.
The Floral Windmills at the Dubai Miracle Garden offer tremendous photography opportunities for the visitors. They were spread over a spacious area and it is easier to take their photographs from different angles. Photography opportunities are also there during the evening hours as things are very bright at the Windmills in the evening and night. These Floral Windmills are highly popular among the visitors of the Dubai Miracle Garden. Your best odd to take photograph with these Floral Mills is to stand at its one side and tell the photographer to include you along with the Floral Windmill within the whole photograph. For best photographs avoid standing in the middle of the Floral Windmill as you may hide almost half of the windmill.
